Has it been a month since I have posted on my blog?
Sorry about that! Things are just hectic because the kids are close to getting out of school! But I AM going to get on top of things and start regularly posting to my blog, so please be patient and check back often!
Heres a card I made when I had some friends over!

This is the new in color Cherry Cobbler! Dont you just LOVE it!!!!

And here are two pictures of where I was this weekend!
A "few" friends and I went to Memories Manor B and B in St Clair Michigan! What a lovely time we had! I have been before and talked 9 other ladies into coming with me!WOOHOO this may just be a yearly event!

February Stamp Camp!

I thought I would share with you my stamp camp projects!
I have really been loving the stuff from the Occasions Mini and Saleabrations catty!

We started off with the box from page 39 in the Occasions Mini, in the mini it shows it with window in it, but I opted out of that and instead we used the Brick Wall Technique with the Upsy Daisy set! And I loved using the Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon with some Linen Thread through a Corduroy Button to finish it off!

The next card we made was the Vintage Vouge friend card!
I love these colors together: Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango and Melon Mambo!
I also used the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP! Throw some punches, sponging, and ribbon around and the card is finished!

Then we did a color on color technique! I love this card the most I think!
We used the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set and stamped it in Bermuda Bay on Bermuda Bay card stock! I decided to use the Happy Easter sentiment from the Well Scripted stamp set. Then went in with the Aqua Painter and some more Bermuda Bay and colored in the flower! With alittle white gel pen and some glitter the flowers really popped! Then we corner rounded a few edges, added some Throughly Modern DSP cut out with the Top Note Big Shot Die, polka dot impressions folder, and some photo corners from the punch and your card is finished!

Our last project was a friendship card made with the Great Friend stamp set!
I really like these colors together, especially the "pop" with just a smidge of Melon Mambo!

So what do you think??
Would you like to attend one of my classes? If you would and your in my area please email me and I can get you a schedule of my upcoming classes! I would love for you to join me!
Hope you enjoyed peeking in on me!
Thanks as always for coming back!

Cards, Cards, Cards

I had some Minglers over on Saturday (unexpectedly) or should I say at the last minute! I invited them over on Thursday or Friday when I found out my hubby was going to be working afternoons on Saturday! We had a blast but missed Emma! heehee
So after a long time of doing nothing! I looked though the Stampin Up catty and found a card on page 53 that I just loved the layout, so I followed it for this card!

I used Not Quite Navy, More Mustard, Old Olive, Very Vanilla and Bravo Burgandy!
Hope you like it!
Enjoy

New Stampin' Up stuff

Since the holidays are over I finally got to open and play with my Stampin' Up stuff that I pre-ordered! And let me just say I really am liking it! The clear blocks are awesome and very comfy in my hand! The cling mount stamps are lovely and hardly take up any room in terms of space! And the new punches well they are just so much lighter and not as bulky for packing to take places!
So I decided to make 2 cards for friends of mine I havent seen in awhile and I LOVE how they turned out!
I used Ruby Red, Handsome Hunter, and Cameo Coral!! I used the new set Vintage Vogue along with the matching wheel!I also used the paper patterns 3 hostess pack as my designer paper which I punched with one of the new punches!Hope you enjoy!

A Friend Card and a Thank You Card!

I have met some lovely people on SCS! And recently I have actually met them in person! I cant wait until March when alot more of the people I chat with on SCS will all get together for a stamping weekend!
This first card is for someone that participated in the Secret Sister Spook! My secret sister was Ann. She sent my a bunch of lovely things! So I made her this Thank you card! I hope she likes it!

This card is for someone I met at the Mini Mingle also. I was very touched that she was so concerned about me and my migraines! She asked me how I was and if everything was going OK! I was really touched! Emma is such a hoot to hang out with! She has this lovely English accent that I could listen to all day! She is so funny and makes you feel welcomed. She also is willing to teach you what she is doing! You can check out her blog here!I am so glad I met all these lovely ladies!

Enjoy

Stamp Camp Creations!

I had an awesome Stamp Camp Friday! I just love all the ladies that come and create at my house! We have so much fun and cant wait til next month! Thank you ladies!

This first card is the new Sock Monkey set from SU that will be in the new catty! I cant wait to see the rest of the catty!! I love this set and how this card turned out! I used the retired Notebook DP. We also used the new scallop border punch and we LOVE it!! I used the In Colors purely pomegranate and cool Caribbean, chocolate chip and creamy caramel. We stamped the hat, cupcake and balloon and punched them out with the circle punches. Added a bit of purely pomegranate double stitched ribbon which is also retired and there you have a great birthday card for a girl or a boy!

Then I decided to use the Deer Friends hostess set to make this cute chocolate treat box. Kind of a Christmas in July project. You can find the tutorial here. We used garden green and real red cardstock. We also used the green dp from the hostess packet. We corner rounded everything and finished it off with the stamped image in real red and a scallop circle attached to the belly band!
You really must try making one of these, they are fun and easy to make!

The next card I just love! Its a tilt card which I found the tutorial on SCS here. We used the stamp set Boatloads of Love. We used alot of the NEW In Colors for 2008-2009. We used tangerine tango for the card base, and baja breeze for the mat. The waves are made using the slit punch with pacific point card stock. The saying is stamped on baja breeze card stock and punched out with the word window punch.

And when you tilt or move the card back and forth the boat looks like it is floating or "tilting". How cool is that?

My last card from Stamp Camp was something I posted awhile ago on my blog which you can see here.

I have also added a picture for you to look at and you can find the details on that post I linked to above.

Thanks for looking!
Enjoy

You girls make me blush!

My sisterhood of the blogging stamper group 7 are the best girls ever.
As of course all of you in blogger land that come and leave me comments!!!
I am very blessed to have you all in my life. Thank you!
I did get a chance to make this card tonight in between sneezing and coughing!LOL

I saw on SCS that someone made a card with just black and white.
I thought it was sharp. So I made this one but added basic grey cs, too.
Some taffeta ribbon and dazzling diamonds.
I used the doodle this stamp set!
I am hoping to get to some challenges tomorrow but I also have to come up with my last two stamp camp projects!
I am hoping to scrapbook this weekend, too.
Enjoy!

*Ink- black, aqua brush and SU inks
*Accessories- dazzling diamonds, chunky essentials glitter, real red ribbon, paper piercer, photo corner punch, brads and a staple.

Back and very excited!!!!!

*sorry about the picture, the dark shadows are snow and salt spots on my very dirty sliding glass door! Although we have the bright sun which is great for taking good pictures, its still very cold here in Michigan!

So by now you all know why I haven't been posting, we were on a little vacation!
The kids had a ball and are already planning a return trip!

It was a great place because you don't have to leave the hotel to do things.
They had so much stuff to keep the kids occupied!
Aside from the water park they had crafts, (which most were free), an arcade, a treetop show and storytime!

For me, its nice to be home and to be able to sleep in my own bed!
Plus I felt like I was growing fins. LOL

Before I left I signed my agreement with SU and am happy to say I am an official SU demonstrator!
I am very excited and can't wait to get started!

The ideas are just whirling in my head!
I am hoping to get my kit today from the lovely UPS man!!

So this card is the first one I made using only SU stuff!
I will be working hard (crossing my fingers, since my youngest now has a stomach thing going on) on making samples for my display board!

Enjoy!

Supplies-
*Stamps-Office Accoutrement, baroque motifs
*Paper- Cutie pie DP, cameo coral, almost amethyst
*Ink- Cameo coral, bashful blue, almost amethyst, versamark

My Great Friends

This card is the one I sent to my girl friends for all the wonderful flowers, cards and well wishes after I miscarried last week. They are great friends and I love them all so much. This is my first "my favorite things" stamp set. And I am loving them!!!! Now I have to get my girls addicted to them too!!!! Its late so if you need to know the supply list, just email me. Enjoy!!

Cute little turtle

This card turned out really cute, but I am turning into a horrible blogger or just a very forgetful person. I can't seem to find the notes I made of all the products I used to make this card, but wanted to post it so I will search high and low and post the supplies when I do find it. Again I am sorry!
Things have been alittle better for me, not feeling as sick but now I am more tired then usual. Also the kids have had crazy schedules, I feel more like a taxi driver then anything else at this point.
I also need to get better organized, as you heard in the previous paragraph,if I write something on a piece of paper I am bound to lose it, so if the kids have something going on I have to write it right on the calendar otherwise it is out of my head forever! Hope everyone is enjoying this mild weather, have a great day. Enjoy!
